Guest guest
before I complete ths question, I need to clarify slightly. My rosacea consists of a highly compromised epidermal barrier. It seems that the inflammation from rosacea or whatever lurks beneath the surface of my skin has completely upset this upper layer. Right now, my skin just cannot maintain its moisture. Most cremes just irritate the skin and I have to splash them off my skin. The only thing which seems to help is DR. Sy's moisturizing oil. Although the vita-oil is very soothing, it does not do anything for the flaking. And the question is, if I am to keep the upper layers of my skin sufficiently lubricated to allow it to heal itself, what do you think would be an adequate time frame. I have no idea if any of this makes any sense but I do know that my skin is just the weirdest. I have some pics posted at www.makeupalley.com you can search by my user name lindylu I do not have any redness or pimples or bumps but my skin seems to be getting flakier and oilier. When I do follow the usual advise for seb , it gets very flaky, even flakier than normal and very irritated. Even slightly red. Would appreciate your input.thanks all
