Guest guest
> Just curious .. Does everyone here with pancreatitis take " Enzymes " ? Kim, My Gastro started me on Ultrase MT20's within two weeks of my initial diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis. I most definately feel a difference and cannot eat anything with more than 2 grams of fat without them without suffering afterward. The few times I have gone without the enzymes have resulted in tremendous pain and diarrhea after eating. To be perfectly frank, they also help to maintain regularly formed bowel movements. When I haven't taken them, my stools are floating and oily. Additionally, since I started taking them, I have been able to gain back and keep the weight I had lost, which was considerable. I wouldn't dream of going without them! With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina Southeastern Representative Pancreatitis Association, Intl.
