Wines like sherry , port and champagne are not legal. Liqueurs are not legal . Hard liquor like gin, vodka, scotch and rye are legal even though they are distilled rom grain. Only the spirits remain. Popular and usually legal if sugar free; Cabernet, Pinot Noir. Merlot, Shiraz, Burgundy, Sauterne, Chardonnay, Pinot Greiger are just a few Check with your package store or wine merchant. You can find brand names of very dry white wines at http://www.nbliquor.com/prod-search.asp by selecting the white wine category and submitting " 00 " in the " sugar content " field.
