Someone posted something about fermenting veggies yesterday. Do you have to be

on this diet for a certain amount of time before you try them? Do you use the

yogurt starter? How much of what do you need? Please post some help for me on

this. Thanks. I have been giving my daughter the goat yogurt for 3 months.

Before that, the nut yogurt. She does have a sensitivity to casein but, does ok

with the goat yogurt. Also, Jody, I gave K her the starter dose for the

Singulair last night to see how she would do on it. I gave it to her @5pm

because the doc said it might make her drowsy. She was very calm from about 1/2

hr. later til she went to bed. She even came to me with her LULU toy which she

plays in bed for the first 5 min. She also has a sinus infection right now but,

1 dose of decongestant(aromatherapy oils inhaled) and 1 dose of the singulair

could take away her sinus symptoms almost immediately. She was coughing and

sneezed during the night still. But, she was not all over the bed like usual

either. No nightmares, seems to be also. I know this was only 1 dose and it just

may be a coincidence that she could be feeling better now but, I am very

interested in seeing how this works out for her. I'll let you know. Jody, I do

not know where we would be without you finding us and getting us here. Thank you

so very much! Jenn & Kali 8 month SCD

Hi Jenn,

No, just healed enough to try them. Start small and work up like

with yogurt.

At this link I posted a link that has two recipes (don't use the

Kefir starter, use yogurt starter)
