Guest guest Posted September 22, 2002 Report Share Posted September 22, 2002 Hi Chuck, Thank you for your reply, Sorry if you thought that I bad mouthing the Whipple, far from it I'm very greatful I had the chance to have the operation I could not live with more stenting, before the operation I had 9 stents and 10 ERCP. I doc. would not stent me no more. without the stent I had crippling pain. The whipple will give me a life without pain. THE surgery I had called duodenum presserveing where they take out the head of the pancreas and resection the intestine with what left of the pancreas. Unlucky for me I got Delayed gastric empting. Chuck I know you are insulin free, Let me know if you had to change your diet and relay on liquids?. and what about bad taste in the mouth? Will look forward to hear from you, Best regards.
