oral contraceptives and amalayse

There was a thread a while ago regarding birth control pills and

amalayse levels. Has anybody had a doctor describe to them HOW the

pills raise amalayse levels? I am seeing a specialist tomorrow for

the first time and I would like to have something to refer to about

this (if possible). My GP has denied that the pill has anything to

do with the pancreas. Thanks, Joia
