Guest guest
I have had a rough few days. I have been running a fever. When I get up each day my temp is normal. By end of evening my temp is 101 to 102.5 Has anyone had this problem or know why this might be happening. I am real weak. I have a terrible headache. My upper abdominal area is under some weird pressure. I went to see my pain dr today for my regular monthly appt. He has scheduled me for a celiac plexus block under a ct scan. He says that this block will be different than the one I had done in April by another dr because he will use sedation, he is going to do the block under a ct scan and not an xray. He does not guarantee it will work. He says if it does work it may only work for a few short days to a few short weeks. He says then he can do another one and that one will last longer than this one and so on until I have built up to 10-12 months of relief. Does this sound familiar to anyone. I don't mind having it done if I am sedated. I was not sedated the first time and I would rather live with pain everyday for the next 500 years than go through that kind of pain for only 2 weeks of relief. I thought my attacks were the worst kind of pain imaginable to me. The block beat that pain by a mile. Any thoughts Ihnow of Central Illinois
