Quick Update..As the Hospital Turns...

Hi Everyone,

I had a bad Sunday as the celiac block started going bye bye. I

went to the ER and had a very pleasant experience with the nurses and

the Dr. I was seen within 5 minutes, morphined in less than 10.

Picture perfect. Till Mom & brother showed up to take me home. That's

a long story I won't get into. Anyway, I saw " My " Dr. today and got

another celiac block. He said he triple dosed me and even gave me

a " get one free " card. He says he is so confident that he will not

charge me nor will there be a facility fee. Today he made the

facility fee 50% and the patient registaration gal wasn't very happy.

Tough banannas for her. He also gave me a script for 100 7.5

percocets. Refillable 1 time. I asked him " Where were you my night in

shining armor 6 months ago? " His reply was " mucking stalls " . All

joking aside he said he didn't understand why my GI didn't refer me

s3everal months ago when it was obvious my pain and condition were

getting worse.

So, I am getting a send off on October 1st from the pain management

clinic. I brought them lunch and brownies today and they said they

are going to reciprocate. Actually got to know the nurse that was

mean to me last time...she used to work as a CNA at Tulane where I

was an LPN. Small world.

I lied...said this was going to be short. So sue me. I just had to

tell you I had a great day and I hope everyone else did also. If not,

I pray that tomorrow will be better. I included everyone in the

healing mass I went to last night. Whether you are religious or not,

you got a very powerful mass said for you.
