Guest guest
Hey there, First Lori, I am so sorry we were not able to catch each other in MN again, but perhaps in the future our paths will cross again, I enjoyed my visit with you and it was wonderful the time we did share together. I am so happy to hear Jim in home, WE all also arrived home the same day as you , although we drove it was an incredible trip home. I will be in touch...THANK YOU...: ) To the rest of the group here WE also arrived home late last night around 11;00 pm it was such an exilerating feeling to finally get home, we drove and it took us around 24 hours, Brandan had his surgery a week before Jim on August 12, 2002, Brandan is doing very well, he went for his check up with his pediatrician today and to him Brandan is an inspiration, Although it will take time for Brandans body to heal not only from the surgery but from 16 years of battling this disease, I know there are no more attacks and PAINcreatitis as I call it, for HIM. The BEAST as I have so many times referred to it is GONE. I know the road ahead is uncertain, but we will continue to take it as we have for so many years and that is " ONEDAY AT A TIME " . Brandan is now on 9units of Lantus long acting insulin once a day..His Blood sugars remain normal even as his appetite grows. I have said it many times before, I DONT BELIEVE IN MIRACLES, I RELY ON THEM. I truly did rely on Brandans MIRACLE and through all the prayers and support and the miraculous, hands of a man I call an ANGEL, Brandan is getting his SECOND CHANCE. Thank YOU again to all who had part in giving Brandan his Second Chance, for as I have said so often to so many these last few months. " IT TRULY IS AMAZING HOW ONE PERSON CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. " As always keeping you and yours in our thoughts and prayers..always...Keep smiling(cuz sometimes its all one can do!)..TTFN...Peg...: )
