Guest guest
Each time I have been in the hospital (5 times since Jul 18th) I end up gaining several pounds. I assume it is from the IV fluid they are pumping in me. I gained 11 lbs with one hospitalization. 9 days after I got out of the hospital I had lost 14 lbs (the 11 I gained plus 3 more). With my 4th hospitalization, I gained 9 lbs in only two days. I was out of the hospital 5 days and lost only 3 of the 9 lbs I had gained. I was just in the hospital for one night this time. Today when I got home, I weigh 6 lbs more than I did on Wednesday morning. My stomach feels all bloated, too. Is this normal? Also, I don't know if it's related or not, but I am having problems urinating. It's kind of like I have to just force the urine out. It just seems like all my insides are swollen. I don't see how it could be affecting my bladder since it's nowhere near the pancreas!
