Aloe vera can irritate inflamed skin (as a study on surgical incisions showed). I want a willow bark -strontium solution in a mild preparation. I assume it is a source of salicylic acid, which is similar to aspirin (aspirin was designed as a milder version of sal. acid). Strontium is regarded as an analgesic - used in toothpaste for sensitive teeth - but may have anti-inflammatory effects too. Cesium (caesium) is meant to have even more analgesic effects - has anyone tried this? Barry Hunt
