Probably meant for public viewing, but I'll hold back the person's

identity just in case:

I agree. Aloe vera can irritate inflamed skin (as a study on

surgical incisions showed). I want a willow bark -strontium solution

in a mild preparation.

Interesting that willow bark has come up a couple of times recently. I

assume it is a source of salicylic acid, which is similar to aspirin

(aspirin was designed as a milder version of sal. acid).

Strontium is regarded as an analgesic - used in toothpaste for sensitive

teeth - but may have anti-inflammatory effects too. Cesium (caesium) is

meant to have even more analgesic effects - has anyone tried this?
