I'm using the lotion on the left side of my face and the gel on the right. There is a followup appointment in one month. At that visit I will tell him which I like better and then get a 'script for it. Does anyone have anything to tell me regarding the use of Metrolotion vs Metrogel? My face would turn red for about 30 minutes after appling metrolotion. During those 30 minutes, my face did not look or feel good. Metrogel, which I use now, never irritates my face but is a little bit drying. It is also the only topical that when I get a bump that itches will stop the itch. I've tried metrogel, metrocream, noritate, metrolotion, and some sulfer based topicals.
