Guest guest
Del and I had time to talk about the weekend and discuss what might have brought on the attack. We think we did have some warning signs. While this may be a little unpleasant, Del has two warning signs belching, smells like rotten eggs, and gas. She had meds, that she did take, but she did not drastically change her diet. Does anyone else get any warning signs that an attack is coming. And what do you do or change? Thanks Bob Hi Bob, I'm sorry Del had to go through this. The ride home sounds miserable, but I can understand why you did it that way. It's often hard for me to anticipate a bad attack, I've only had about five. It usually starts as abdominal pain, immediately going to the back, and I do experience the belching beforehand, now that you mention it. It hits me hard and fast, and I know it's coming if I take a Percocet and it doesn't stop the pain. Nearly all of my attacks have happend late in the day or early evening, and do not seem to have any relationship to what I have eaten beforehand. I eat totally low fat, so it would be hard to tell what set it off. What I change is that I immediately go to clear liquids only, and go to bed, ride it out, and stay there until it's over. I have been fortunate enough to stay away from the ER for all but one of these attacks. Hope this helps, Heidi

Guest guest
What do you take on a regular basis for pain? How many do you take a day? I need info like this for my doctor as to what everyone in the group takes on a regular basis. Thank you from Canada
