We do have some adults on this group and some, such as I who both

have cf and have a child wcf. We do what we can as parents, and attempt to

be " reasonable adults. " This list is supportive, kind, informative, caring,

entertaining, humorous but most of all, we engage

in whatever is going on together. I have not seen " flaming " on this list.

The webmaster and moderators are terrific, and we seek, we hunt, we

question, and we find out--but we do it as a giant family--we definitely

" all get along, " and the discussions are always helpful and not solely

emotional, although we have our " e-vents, rants and raves, too! " Well,

to put it mildly, this is a safe and knowledgeable place to be in cyber

space for any parent of a child or young adult or adult with cystic fibrosis,

for any relative or grandparent, aunt or uncle, for any about

whose diagnosis is still " up in the air. " We probably do run the gamut.

Most of all, though, I think we are respectful of one another, and that

makes so much possible. This list is as good as it is because parents

and people like you do join us. Thank you so much.
