Guest guest
, Check with your PCP office to see if they recommend any pain management docs. If not check out your insurance to see who you can go to and then ask them if they have had anyone with good results go to a pain specialist. And then go from there. Then have you PCP recommend your to a pain doc that you have heard good things about. Ask other people you know that have the same insurance that you do, if they or anyone they know have any good results with any of the pain specialist that is on your coverage plan. Sometimes it helps, if you can find someone who has had good results with a certain pain doc. I hope that this helps. If your PCP, won't refer you to a pain specialist let your insurance know and then ask them for help. I hope that this helps. Pain Management???? Hi, all. Back at work after my husband's granmother's funeral. Yesterday was tough, but today's been worse. We're being audited at work - as if I wasn't stressed enough! Anyways, I wanted to ask a question. I have read that many of you are being treated by doctors specifically for pain - am I correct in that??? If not, ignore me. If so, please tell me how you got hooked up with these people. I am asking, because I made the decision this weekend to put my surgery off. It was scheduled for October 11. A strong feeling came over me this weekend, and I made the decision without blinking an eye. Maybe it is just my desire not to become diabetic, plus having a surgery that will probably only be for short-term relief. Can't justify it right now. I am going to wait and see if my insurance will pay fo the surgery with Dr. Sutherland. I am supposed to be getting a packet of info from their office this week. If someone could give me info on the pain management, I'd appreciate it. My doctor will not treat me for pain. He says it's too dangerous, but he doesn't live with the pain. So, I need to try something else, as my pain meds are quickly running out! Thanks - Hope everyone is okay! Many prayers to you all - in KY
