Guest guest
When couldn't calm down...we stripped him down and put him into a warm bath. Yes we did get sucked into screaming and yelling at him...tried sending him to his room...but realized that this did not work (he was a powerless as we where to what was happening to his body when going through this painful transition....discipline does not work...LOVE and empathy does)....What worked best for us was holding him...if he would let us (when he wouldn't letting him know that we loved him)....and putting him into a warm bath! Many a meal...was ruined with him in the bath tub! Hang in there it does get better! We haven't had one seizure (KiKi) going on eight days! and no tantrums/rage attacks going on six! YEAH!!!! No you didn't miss a post...I just get worried about what others think of me...to easily sometimes. Thanks for putting up with me too...we are all learning here! HUGS! Did you hug them and hold them through it, send them to their room to calm down? --Mel For information on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, please read the book _Breaking the Vicious Cycle_ by Elaine Gottschall and read the following websites: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.infohttp://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/\ > and http://www.pecanbread.comhttp://www.pecanbread.com/>
