Guest guest
Hello everyone, I hope everyone is having a pain free day. My wife has just been released from the hospital from an attack over the weekend. We were able to get away to Eureka Springs without the kids, to attend a wedding. This is about a five-hour drive for us from Kansas City. Del, my wife, woke up on Sunday morning pain and sick. After some thought, the possibility of being admitted, being out of state, our kids staying with someone, we decided to hurry home. This drive back to Kansas City, was very tough ride for both of us, mostly Del, however she was able to sleep, for a while at least. We made it back to Kansas City and went straight to the ER. ER was great. We informed them that Del had CP and with little effort, Del was given everything she needed. She was admitted and was released on Tuesday. Del and I had time to talk about the weekend and discuss what might have brought on the attack. We think we did have some warning signs. While this may be a little unpleasant, Del has two warning signs belching, smells like rotten eggs, and gas. She had meds, that she did take, but she did not drastically change her diet. Does anyone else get any warning signs that an attack is coming. And what do you do or change? Thanks Bob
