Guest guest
Thank you all who have welcomed me! In response to Kim, your information is very interesting. Something I will definitley file away for the future. Although, I think that in Josh's case it was usually in response to an infection because his lung functions would drop and his sputum would be thick and green (only here could you talk about this!). We honestly believe that the Motrin study that he was on had alot to do with it. After this started happening, alot of people with problems unrelated to CF mentioned bleeding problems associated with Motrin. He was taking 800mg, twice daily. This was supposed to slow the deterioration (sp?) of his lungs. I don't blame the doc's, we all learn by trial and error. Josh still participates in clinical trials. One day he may be the guinea pig that saves someones life! Hopefully his own. But the chemical thing will be a big help in relation to how we live our everyday life. With a history of bleeds, we need to be careful of what we allow him to be exposed to. His dad has been painting a house that he rents out, I'll definitley pass this on...Thanks
