Guest guest
Hi all, I am now eight weeks after my first V-beam treatment with no noticeable effects. I'm due to get my next treatment in early March, hopefully they will increase the energy level but I also thought I should give my face the maximum chance for healing by removing all possible flushing triggers from my life. I'm prepared to stop drinking alcohol, coffee etc for a while after the treatment, but one thing I would find hard to give up is my exercise regime. I've been going to the gym regularly for nearly a year now and have recently added running to my routine, and I would hate to throw it all away and lie around on my butt for a few months just to avoid the associated flushing. So I was wondering whether anyone had any good ideas for low-impact but useful exercise? Yoga perhaps? It almost seems to be an impossible dilemma because by definition a lot of cardiovascular exercise requires that you get your heart rate beyond a certain point -- and of course us rosaceans start to flush whenever our heart rate goes above normal. I guess I'll give up exercise altogether if it really helps, but obviously I'd rather not. I would love to hear any thoughts or suggestions! Take care, n.
