Guest guest
No number of treatments will probably get rid of ALL the redness and flushing. The ideal number of treatments to get rid of the maximum percentage of it (often very high percentage, between 70-90%) varies from practioner to practioner. Based on the settings, and machine, and other factors. Each person's case is different. I'd say in most cases, anywhere from 5 to 13 treatments. An average of around 7, 8 or 9 Adam

Guest guest
As far as I know, there is really no set amount - or magic number. Everyone has varying degrees of redness and flushing, as well as different skin types. Add to that, different practitioners with different techniques, etc,.... I've heard the average is 9 to 12, but I know of several who have had over 30, and some who needed only 5, with an annual touch-up. A very good, but difficult question to answer! Guest guest
Most people have a course of at least 5 treatments. Some people with extensive sun damage need up to 12 to see much improvement. I've had nine and will probably have one more and then stop. My case was pretty severe, but the most dramatic improvement in the permanent redness occurred with the first 3 treatments. Treatments one and two drastically improved the color. The subsequent treatments have each brought improvement with flushing and skin sensitivity (i.e., trigger tolerance, etc) and slight improvement with the color. It varies so much by individual but I think most would agree the most significant improvement occurs with the first 5. > Sorry if this has been asked before, but I didn't see it in the > highlights.
