Is there anyone with the experience with working with CP and the

possible related drug tests for some positions. If my disablity does

not go through I am looking at having to work. I am currently

stabilized on 90mg of MS contin a day along with the enzymes and

other stomach meds.

I would really like you input.

Thanks in advance

Walt,

I think as long as you take your bottle in with you for drug testing and the

script is current they note it on your test so that they don't include that in

the spectrum of drugs they test for. As long as you are up front with them and

you have proof that you are prescribed medication that may show up in a drug

screen, I don't think they can penalize you for it.

Have you been tot he Chat with the SSD attorney yet? We have one tonight at

8:30 est. If you have any questions you would like answered just post them and

one of us will see that they get answered ok?

Best Wishes and BIG {{{HUGZ}}}

Walt:

The office that I worked in did alot of drug screen collections. If is is

NOT a DOT test they should ask you to list ALL meds taken in the past 30

days prescription and OTC. Be sure to include any viatmins as well. If you

test positive the medical control officer should contact you and ask for a

verifiable presecription . As long as its legal there is no problem. If is

a DOT (truck drivers) type drug screen then they can not ask until you test

postive. I hope this helps.
