Guest guest Posted December 9, 2002 Report Share Posted December 9, 2002 Luckily (?) I had a scheduled appt with my PCP today. It was a bad day for me pain wise. He saw how much pain I was in and asked if I needed to be admitted. I told him no, that I was still able to eat, no vomiting just pain. I was using the Duragesic 75mcg patches but they make me itch so bad. My nose is almost raw I have rubbed it so much. I told him I had Vicoden for breakthrough pain but I did not like having to use it every 4 hours or 6 for that matter. One of the meds I am on can raise liver enzymes and I don't want to use that much tylenol everyday. He told me to switch back to the oxycotin stop the patches- for now. He wanted me seen at MUSC today, and he called but they cannot see me until Wed. The oxy is kicking in,things are starting to go blurry so I'll write more later.
