Hi everyone,

just came home at about 11pm tonight. He was on top of the world. He is

in drama in highschool. He usually is a " techie " , someone who works behind the

scenes. About a week ago a small part opened up and it was given to Josh. It was

a non speaking part, but somehow Josh the clown that he is managed to improvise

and the audience thought he was hilarious! I could tell he was so proud of

himself. He's usually kind of shy.

After the play he went to a cast party at the house of another student. My

oldest son was there (also a techie) and he says that no one at the party

smoked. As I said they got in at 11:00. I was talking to my oldest son and I

kept hearing Josh's persistent cough in the background. I finally went to check

on him and he was on the back porch coughing up blood. Every time he tried to

come back in the house he would start coughing again. I don't know if it was the

dry heat or what. What is so scary about it is you can hear it gurgling in his

lungs when he breathes.

After about 20 minutes it stopped and my oldest son took him to his dad's for

the weekend. I don't know what's up with him now. Anyway, I guess I'm just kind

of worried. It's been a while since he's bleed like this.
