Guest guest
I too am interested in finding a multivitamin that doesn't contain niacin but rather niacinamide. Hope someone posts the name of one. My rosacea is rather recently diagnosed but I think I had it in a very mild form for years. I went to the derm in Dec. because all of a sudden the broken veins were increasing almost day by day. I have no papules or pustules and don't flush much except when I get hot from working inside or outside and after a shower. The only triggers I can identify are getting hot and this computer screen (I don't seem to flush but it makes my face burn). I'm a little pink on my nose cheeks and chin all the time. Would it be better to get some form of laser treatment before the vascular damage gets any worse or should I wait until I have the more severe form? My treatment right now consists of Zinc 25mg 2 X day (I haven't seen any posts on this--?) Dynacin 100mg daily (just changed from tetracycline 250mg 2 x daily because it didn't seem to work), clonidine 0.1 mg daily (for less than 30 days), Noritate daily and Plexion Cleanser 2 x daily. I love the way my skin feels after the Plexion but the recent comments on sulfa concern me. The clonidine has just about stopped the burning and tingling on my nose and cheeks. Aside from the clonidine I can't tell that any of it is helping. I'm still getting more veins! I'm not using the Gold Bond any more except very occassionally. I does help cool me off but I think I'm putting too much stuff on my skin. Now I use a cool wash cloth I store in the frig. Thanks for you input.
