Guest guest
That happened with - she was so mad and we were so dissappointed. You mentally circle that date on the calendar and when it doesn't happen its awful. Your right - think about the fact that he is getting better and if you stopped too soon they would only put in another IV in a few weeks. Rosemary in New York with 3 children with CF - they are 12, 10, 6...I coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT " ; and now we have a dog named - are you ready for this - TOBI after their medication! Guest guest
HEY, you take as many " moments as you want " ! ! That is exactly why we're all here. I am sorry too, that he will still have BUT, if it will help him & he is doing well with it.....Follow his lead........It is still wonderful he is getting better-maybe slower that wanted BUT---------------- Have a wonderful day time with your precious family LOVE & HUGS, grandmomBEV little dissapointed Hi all, Hope everyone is having a good day. Today was supposed to finish his IV meds and have his IV removed today. The doctor called and said that he could still hear alot of crackling in Josh and that he wants to extend his meds till Dec.31 and have IV removed Jan.3. We were so looking forward to having his IV removed. I know we have much to be thankful for and that he is getting better. In fact, he's taking this much better than me, lol. Oh well, I guess my moment of self-pity is over with. Thanks for letting me gripe. Guest guest
Thanks so much for all of the wonderful words of encouragement and support. Can't tell you how much that means to me. Hope that everyone has a fantastic holiday! Tammy
Guest guest
Tammy I am sorry that will not have his IV out for the holidays, but I am glad that he is doing better and taking it fairly well. I know how disapointing it can be to have these things delayed. These are our first holidays with Abby, and we were not able to take her to the big family gathering because everyone was sick. Our family was very supportinve about it, and honest about having viruses, but it was still disapointing. Yet, as you say, we do have much to be grateful for. Hope is feeling much better soon.
