Guest guest
I had a number of ultrasounds with my pregnancy. At 16 weeks, a normal ultrasound, not sure what level it would be, showed a marginal ecogenic bowel. But it was within the acceptable range. Same thing showed up at 24 weeks. But at 32 weeks the bowel was severly distended and they knew that there was a blockage of some kind. was diagnosed with meconium ileus at 4 days old and had a sweat test done immediately. He was diagnosed with CF 1 week later.Luckily, a barium enema cleared the obstruction and surgery was not needed. Cheryl, mom to 3 boys, Zac 6 yrs. wocf, Jake 2 yrs. wocf, Matty 9 mo. wcf meconium illeus question > I was wondering if anyone here has had a 3-D ultrasound.
