Guest guest Posted September 26, 2002 Report Share Posted September 26, 2002 Hi All, I'm going to be a bit slow and brief for my posts in the upcoming weeks. My left eye had some irritation on Tuesday, so I took out my contacts so the eye could rest. Woke up Wednesday morning with it aching all the time, hurt to blink, was watery and painful. So I got an emergency appointment and I've got an ulcer on my left eye that seems to have brewed up quickly, which the eye doctor said usually happens with eye ulcers. She also said I just barely missed having severe damage and scarring of the eye by coming in on Wednesday. I had a check up today with my usually opthamologist and he said it's healing nicely. He said the same thing about my just missing major damage and scarring to the eye. I've got a milky film on the eye from the medication, so I can't see out that eye worth diddly. Unfortunately, my left eye is my dominant eye an the only glasses I have a from a previous prescription (luckily not too much of a change, so I can still see out of the right eye).
