FotoFacial in Vancouver, BC

Hello,

Was wondering if anybody out there has gotten FotoFacial treatments

by a physician in Vancouver, BC. The two doctors here that were

trained by Dr. Bitter Jr. are Dr. Braun of the Vancovuer Lasser

Centre and Dr. Gerald Boey of the Arbutus Laser Centre. Please let

me know if you've been to either one of these Doctors.

I have mild rosacea, with a slightly always pink nose, and tend to

get blotchy instead of an overall flush. I also have non-rosacea

related acne, combined with enlarged pores (blackheads/whiteheads)

and an oily face. I'm 21 years old of Asisan descent, not the

regualr rosacean. I'm afraid that I may not be the ideal candidate

for IPL and might be risking my face for vanity. Dr. Braun says he

performs microdermabrasion one week after the first fotofacial

treatment, but I read more about this and again, my skin type doesn't

seem suited for this procdure. I also read that microdermabrasion

can leave your face pink for weeks! That's the last think I need

right now.
