Guest guest
speaking of anabolic steroids. women have birth control pills with sythetic low androgenic progesterones (ie ortho tri cylcin) which quell acne and inflammatory rosacea, and may reduce sebum production. the corresponding pharmaceutical intervention for males would be a low androgenic high anabolic steroid, which would lower endogenenous testosterone production and dht conversion, thus lessening the inflammatory acne effect. other studies have shown, even testosterone (injectable esters such as testosterone enanthate, cypionate, etc -- which have different pharmacokinetics than engogenous testosterone can, at times, supress inflammatory acne -- they can also cause horrible eruptions, too) we really need more information on this. because of the dea scheduling anabolic substances, no research is being done on the use of low androgenic high anabolic steroids with regards to skin in males. most the research community is interested in them are for testosterone replacement therapy and aids wasting. its a terrible wasted opportunity -- we all loose out on valuable knowledge. once males have reached their full height, this could prove to be a valuable tool, especially for those who cannot tolerate accutane and/or antibiotics, or as an adjunct. damn the dea, damn the fda, and damn the accutane smart program. all this is beurocratic bs which gets in the way of continued medical progress! as far as agression goes, maybe we need the citezenry to get a tad more agressive in telling the regulatory types where they can do with the accutane smart program > > Has anyone heard about new limitations on accutane treatment in the > US? Guest guest
-Which anabolics would you be referring to as possible treatments? Deca Durabolan? This is a very good discussion for sure, there are a few aromatize inhibitors too, such as arimidex, nolvadex and provorin,I wonder how these would play into the whole picture? -- In rosacea-support@y..., " doubleoh7_mi6 " wrote: > speaking of anabolic steroids. women have birth control pills with > sythetic low androgenic progesterones (ie ortho tri cylcin) which > quell acne and inflammatory rosacea, and may reduce sebum > production. the corresponding pharmaceutical intervention for males > would be a low androgenic high anabolic steroid, which would lower > endogenenous testosterone production and dht conversion, thus > lessening the inflammatory acne effect. other studies have shown, > even testosterone (injectable esters such as testosterone enanthate, > cypionate, etc -- which have different pharmacokinetics than > engogenous testosterone can, at times, supress inflammatory acne -- > they can also cause horrible eruptions, too) we really need more > information on this. > > because of the dea scheduling anabolic substances, no research is > being done on the use of low androgenic high anabolic steroids with > regards to skin in males. most the research community is interested > in them are for testosterone replacement therapy and aids wasting. > its a terrible wasted opportunity -- we all loose out on valuable > knowledge. once males have reached their full height, this could > prove to be a valuable tool, especially for those who cannot tolerate > accutane and/or antibiotics, or as an adjunct. > > damn the dea, damn the fda, and damn the accutane smart program. all > this is beurocratic bs which gets in the way of continued medical > progress! > > as far as agression goes, maybe we need the citezenry to get a tad > more agressive in telling the regulatory types where they can do with > the accutane smart program > > > > > Has anyone heard about new limitations on accutane treatment in > the > > US?
