Guest guest
Treating rosacea is all about reducing inflammation. Trouble is, reduing inflammation comes with baggage. Take coricosteroids. Reduced inflammation. However, a host of side endocrine and metabolic side effects, and the topicals induce worse rosacea. Next come the topical antibiotics, they are anti-inflammatory, but the vehicles they are in are comedogenic. Then topical antifungals such as ketoconazole. Same problem, the base is comedogenic and it, along with the topical antibiotics induce resistance. Someone needs to make a 2% precipitated sulfur preparation in a good vehicle.
