Guest guest
The chart that you are referring to isn't a guideline based on time. The foods were divided into five categories from the easiest (Stage 1) to the most difficult (Stage 5) - according to their relative ease of digestion. So, cooked squash is a lot easier to digest than dried fruit. The categories are to compare the ease of digestion. It's not a time table. So, there is no real answer to your question. I'm sorry. It will just depend on how your child progresses. Generally speaking, the more gut damage, the longer it will take for someone to be able to tolerate the more difficult foods. So, that's why we recommend a food log and introducing foods slowly so that you can see what's tolerated and what isn't. Some people have been able to add raw foods in a month, others it's taken many, many months, even a year. So, there's just no way to give a time estimate.
