[MiniGastricBypass]update on christine

Hey gang, as I stepped on my sister scales this morning I have lost a total

of 66 lbs in 4 months to the day. I have to go down the street to my sister

house to use her scales because I dont have any. Which is good for me or I

would weight myself everyday and I know that would just drive me crazy. I

never thought I would see this day. Only 10 more to go before I will be

under 200. I went a couple of weeks ago to have some blood work done and to

make sure I was doing well, all of my blood work came back normal.

Cholesterol was 119, I could hardly believe it. The Dr. said I was doing

great.

I have been working in my yard all day with just a little help from my oldest

son, he mowed the grass, other than that I have done all the trimming,

blowing, raking, pulling weeds and edging. I have never had as much energy

as I have had since the surgery.

My other sister came by to visit for a while and she could not believe the

amount of weight I have lost. She just kept saying, you look so good Chris.

I just smiled each and every time she gave me a compliment.

I went to a party last night, where I have not seen people in over six months

or better. I had a good friend walk up behind me and said, where is the rest

of you!! I did not even recognize you, I just died laughing and told her it

is gone forever, although she knew I was having the surgery done, because she

was the one who helped me get my paper work straight with my insurance

company, We both worked for the same HMO. , knows who I am talking

about. Our good friend Clara, I told her how well you were doing and how much

weight you have lost in the last six months, she could hardly believe it.

I am doing the happy dance, just 10 more pounds gang and I will be under 200.

It has been 12 years since I have been there. Thanks for letting me ramble

on like this but I wanted to tell the group and the whole world.
