Guest guest Posted June 7, 2002 Report Share Posted June 7, 2002 as I understand it, IPL is the generic term, and Photoderm, FotoFacial,etc are trademarked marketing terms for the procedure by specific doctors or chains. The exact protocol may be different (filter settings, number of passes, etc) but the machine is the same.
