Photoderm treatments and LTD disks!

Hi folks,

After 2 photoderm treatments with Dr. Jay in NYC, I

switched doctors and things seem to be going well. The

dark red from the treatment went away after a good

couple of hours. Today my cheeks are red from my

rosacea, but not from the treatment. The only problem

today is that my cheeks ache a little. Almost like my

face has been in a permanent smile position for a long

time. Nothing major.

The treatment was different from my previous doctor,

since I was treated with 570 and 590 filters.

Previously I do not believe I was treated with 590.

Also, this time I had my whole nose treated. It did not

hurt as I thought it would. Another appt. in three

weeks.

As for the LTD disks, I did not receive any benefit from

using them! My rosacea basically consists of permanent

red cheeks and no acne component (aside from a few

occasional pimples)! The red was not reduced at all

from the disks. After explaining the disks to my doctor

and reviewing the ingredients, he wrote me a scrit for

Novacet. Novacet is sodium sulfacetamide and sulfur.

Sulfur is the same basic ingredient in the disks.

Novacet did not help with the redness either. Once

again, everybody has different experiences.

Thus far the 2 photoderm treatments I've had have helped

decrease the intensity and frequency of my flushing to a

slight extent. My cheeks are still red, but I feel the

treatments could work on eliminating redness.

Jeff
