Guest guest
OK. I've been searching for pictures of the gluten-intolerance rash on the face to no avail. I have found some good pictures on Dr. Koop's site of food allergy induced face rashes. Refered to on the site as perioral dermatitis ( " rash around the mouth " ), Koop's site says they can be caused by contact causes or also by food allergies. My rash looked most like pictures 1, 2, and 4 at varying times. It's funny because perioral dermatitis was my first diagnosis, and then " rosacea " when it began to spread away from my mouth and chin area. My derm mentioned contact reactions (he hypothosized toothpaste, lipstick, etc...) but never mentioned or delved into food allergies. Take a look... I think this is the rash some people on the site are describing (and others something else). Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to see the pictures. http://drkoop.com/ency/article/000817.htm Suzi http://drkoop.com/ency/article/000817.htm __________________________________________________
