Guest guest Posted February 3, 2002 Report Share Posted February 3, 2002 I have used Ombrelle sunblock for years and found that it leaves my skin soft and hydrated. I even use it at night because its so soothing. After reading Dr. Nase's book, however, I became concerned about using a chemical sunscreen and decided to try some of the mineral based ones he recommended. Cautiously, over a period of five months, I experimented with different sunblocks and shelved Ombrelle. My skin didn't respond well to any of the new products. I just went back to Ombrelle and my skin improved immediately. Once again it feels soft and hydrated. Interestingly, I recently started using L'oreal AirWear makeup and love it. Other people in the group have posted about their success with this product. One of the main ingredients in this foundation is Octyl Methoxycinnamate the same as Ombrelle.
