Guest guest
You stated you had bad flares after each photoderm sessions, were you on antibiotics at the time if so how much of what and was it new areas of flares are just the same areas. Question: anyone have burning ears that hurt when you lay on your pilliow at night. This is the pits, hell you can't even sleep in peace, my derm. said he thought it was from puting pressure on your ears, he said many people sleep on their arms and this condition, he called it a name, was bad if it got out of control. Did anyone have ears improve after photoderm. Please answer to group as this is good info. for all. I know it takes time to answer but what goes around comes around. Thanks! Ps How many of you did or did not flare after photoderms while on antibiotics> Now you know thats a good question!!! Come on lets get some discussion going! Guest guest
---I flared like crazy after photoderm, flared from moving, sleeping, eating (anything) and I broke out like crazy. Couldn't do anything. THis was after session #4. It was doing better until then. I was not on antibiotics, but now I am. I know it's supposed to be the other way around; antibiotics before photoderm and then off of them after. But now things are calming down. I will definetely be on antiobiotcs if I have photoderm again. My skin just reacted badly from all the inflammation. I have had rosacea a long time, over 15 years, and no medication for the first 12 of those years. Wasn't diagnosed correctly. So that is probably why I reacted badly, alot more damage and infammatory cells present. I think the only antibiotic you can use while on photoderm is erythromycin. But I could be wrong. I'm looking into V-beam now. Photoderm has lessened the overall redness and flushing, now, but I still have a lot of pinkness, my nose hasn't not been helped much and I'm more spotty. So I am working on that aspect now.
