Guest guest
You stated you had bad flares after each photoderm sessions, were you on antibiotics at the time if so how much of what and was it new areas of flares are just the same areas. Question: anyone have burning ears that hurt when you lay on your pilliow at night. This is the pits, hell you can't even sleep in peace, my derm. said he thought it was from puting pressure on your ears, he said many people sleep on their arms and this condition, he called it a name, was bad if it got out of control. Did anyone have ears improve after photoderm. Please answer to group as this is good info. for all. I know it takes time to answer but what goes around comes around. Thanks! Ps How many of you did or did not flare after photoderms while on antibiotics> Now you know thats a good question!!! Come on lets get some discussion going! Guest guest
My ear burning and pain has improved with photoderm treatments, although not to a stage where I could ever sleep on my right ear at night! Prior to photoderm my ears would flush, swell and burn almost constantly. I'm guessing the improvement following multiple treatments is about 40-50%. I'm now having the ears treated with v-beam which, although it has basically only one wavelength, has a smaller spot size that better fits the contours of my ear than the photoderm crystal. It's a little early to tell whether the results on my ears will be as good as/better than photoderm but I am having some improvement after initial treatments. Re post photoderm flaring while on antibiotics, I think I had some increased flaring after every treatment, regardless of whether I was taking antibiotics at the time!
