Guest guest
Hi - Sorry about this OT, but I am curious about where your kids were on the growth charts percentile-wise when they were infants? Cameron was always in the 95th for weight and height. Our dd has always been in the 50th (nice and average) with such a different diet and none of the problems our little guy has - yet... hopefully never! I'm worried b/c my brother's baby is HUGE! In the 95th percentile, too and only 3 months old (just breastfed). Thanks, Lynn
Guest guest
My son is also 95th for both and always has been. He was breastfed until 11 months then started with the gut problems after solids were introduced. My only suggestion for your daughter is hold off on solids until after 6 months at least (of course consult with your Dr.) My daughter is 14 months and is average for her age. She wears 12-18 month clothes now. My son at her age was already in 24month clothes. We actually went to a new GI on Wednesday for My son about his Hx. I knew we were in trouble when the Dr had never heard of SCD. Then he kept talking about why we were worried....Caden was in the 95th percentile!!! So his conclusion is that he has food allergies that he does not want to test for, that having 10 DBM with food in it is " okay " because Caden is 95th percentile, and we should not be restricting his diet like we are because his digestion will probly be better by the time he is 5 or 6 with out doing anything. My point is...(sorry it took so long).. is that just because our sons are 95th percentile does not make them healthier than their little, smaller sisters. Caden is almost 3 and eats a lot more than I do and about as much as my husband where as my daughter will eat 6 bits and be done. I would not worry about comparing them to each other they are different inside and out. andrea > > Hi - > Sorry about this OT, but I am curious about where your kids were on > the growth charts percentile-wise when they were infants?
