Hi gang: I am into my second week post-ETS and am still extremely

scared and nervous, but at the same time amazed at my wonderful

results. I have been in two situations where I normally would have

blushed beyond belief and I did not blush at all!! One situation was

at an orientation where I asked a question in front of a few hundred

people. I could not believe there was no blush. I felt some heat in

my lower body from the nervousness, but it stopped cold at my chest.

Awesome!!!!

I notice my feet sweat a little more now. This must be the mild

compensatory sweating. It's not a problem at all. I hardly notice

it. Also, my body feels cooler than it used to. I get chilled more

easily but it's not a big deal. I just wear a sweater. I'm glad I

get chilled. It might be helping the rosacea.

I have not flared since the surgery. My papules/pustules are all

gone and I have not developed any new ones. My skin is calm and

feels normal. My main problem pre-ETS was terrible blushing. Now I

dont blush at all. I never really flushed very much and still dont.

I was able to sit near our woodburning stove the other night without

having a flare. I usually get a flare from the heat, but I was happy

to notice there was no reaction at all.

I am still nervous about potential side effects developing. I have

heard that increased flushing has occurred in some within a few years

after ETS. I hope this does not happen to me. If things stay the way

they are right now I will be very happy. I will keep you posted on

my progress.

Patty
