Guest guest
I wanted to give a big thank you to everybody who answered the question " what are the favorite recipes that you make over and over again? " I should add my own favorite recipe! I make the muffin recipe (p. 5) of " SCD with Taste and Tradition " . Lately I've been modifying it by adding: 1/4 t. salt, 1/2 t. ground ginger, and 1/4 (heaping) teaspoon of ground cloves and I change the cinnamon to 1/2 teaspoon (although maybe it should stay at 1 t.). Plus I use cooked apple pieces instead of the applesauce (in other words, I just don't mush up the apple chunks into applesauce when I cook them), and I like the little chunks of apple in it. After reading about the cookies with the brazilian nut flour I looked for that flour and found it on sale! It looked like it was half price! Yeah! (I think that I got it from digestive wellness, but I'm not sure.) However, I think that the flour was from UNblanched brazil nuts. Also a big thank you to Sheila, Carol and Jody who have answered so many questions. I keep a Microsoft Word file open when I am reading the e-mails and I cut and paste useful info and recipes from the e-mails and into the Word document. Now I have a treasure trove of advice and recipes and menu ideas! A big thank you to everybody who contributes! Carolyn
