Guest guest
Dave: I also have Crohn's. I started at 3 mg for about 3 weeks and increased by .5 mg each night. at 4.5 mg. I felt terrible. I backed down to 4 mg. and found that to be my magic number! It's been about 2 or 3 weeks now of feeling better than I have ever felt in my life. I have to tell you, I was in a SEVERE flare lasting 6 solid months; vomiting, bloody diarrhea, 103 fever...24/7...I now have NO Crohn's symptoms and full of energy. I hope it works as well for you. By the way, I'm 5'6 " , 110 lbs. Vicky > > I seem to be tolerating 2.5mg okay. Guest guest
, I have MS and on LDN. My 10 yr old daughter just got diagnosed with Crohn's. I thought I had read somewhere that LDN can cure Crohn's. Are you aware of this. Do you have any knowledge of this? -- [low dose naltrexone] Re: When to increase dose for Crohns Dave:I also have Crohn's. Guest guest
: " Cure " isn't a term used with autoimmune diseases, unfortunately. I hate that your daughter has to have this on her medical record forever, having the disease is bad enough. I hope she isn't suffering with it. I know some people have a very mild form of Crohn's. Mine happens to be very agressive and did not respond at all to conventional meds. LDN has completely erased all symptoms. I was so sick for so long that I never expected to feel this well ever again. This is exactly what I have been harping about to my Dr. from the beginning. If the immune system is working properly, don't suppress it or kill it, lets make it work right. Vicky > > > > I seem to be tolerating 2.5mg okay. Guest guest
Why don't you go to 3.0 and see if that works for you? Maybe you do best on 3.0. Best, Kathy [low dose naltrexone] When to increase dose for Crohns I seem to be tolerating 2.5mg okay. How soon should I move up to the 4.5?Dave DBTW, I'm 6'2" and weigh 250lbs
