Thanks for the link Matija! I think he might have actually been

referring to this:

which is the lotion. The link you posted was for the " Anti-Itch "

cream.

I also noticed a lotion for sensitive skin which might be more

appropriate here:

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?

pid=71733&catid=10&brand=7770&tab=0&brand=7770#packagedetails

The ingredients are as follows:

Active Ingredients: Dimethicone (5%)

Inactive Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Gel, BHT, Cetyl Alcohol,

Colloidal Oatmeal, Disodium EDTA, Distearyldimonium Chloride,

Emulsifying Wax, Glycerin, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben,

Petrolatum, Propylene Glycol, Stearamidopropyl PG-dimonium Chloride

Phosphate, Steareth-2, Steareth-21, Stearyl Alcohol, Tocopheryl

Acetate, Triethanolamine, Water

Well, no menthol, which is comforting. The dimethicone is familiar

of course, but notice the two gentle alcohols, steryl and cetyl which

might be problematic. Plus there seems to be the addition of

Petrolatum is kind of a big turn-off for me. A little too scary for

me unfortunately.

I was also confused about which Gold Bond product " snow skiman " was

using until I re-read his post. He says he's using " the green bottle

(for itchy skin) " and it is a lotion. That should be Gold Bond

Medicated Body Lotion, Extra Strength. Below are the ingredients.

My concerns are the ingredients menthol, cetyl alcohol, emulsifying

wax, stearyl alcohol, and fragrance, all of which Dr. Nase's book

should be either avoided or that rosacea sufferers should be wary

of. But if it works for someone, that's great. After reading the

posts, I'm tempted to try it as I'm sure many others are. If anyone

else does, please post on the results.

Thanks
