I don't know if you tried their new Foaming stuff -- I love the mouse consistency and bubbles and it really cleans my face. But even if I rinse it off quickly it clogs my pores (myristate and related products don't work well for me). For those who can tolerate myristate, it might be an option. > A close second is Aveeno's Creamy Baby Cleanser. That one is > good too. I've heard of the company, but not that particular product. Do you have the list of ingredients convenient? (I don't have seborrhea, so our skins probably need different things/react differently.) These days I'm using Pharmaceutical Specialties' complexion soap -- I don't react to it, but it doesn't clean much at all. Besides, bar soaps are just no fun to use. For those in the market for a new cleanser, I hear thata Clinique just came out with a new one. Here's the ingredients: COMFORTING CREAM CLEANSER ingredients: water (aqua purificata) purified [] c12-15 alkyl benzoate [] butylene glycol [] caprylic/capric triglyceride [] glyceryl stearate [] ppg-2 myristyl ether propionate [] cetyl alcohol [] glycerin [] stearyl glycyrrhetinate [] cetearyl alcohol [] arginine [] cetyl esters [] ceteareth-20 [] octyl hydroxystearate [] cetyl ricinoleate [] carbomer [] disodium edta [] phenoxyethanol [] methylparaben Marjorie Marjorie Lazoff, MD

The tolerain foaming cleanser is crap. It clogged my pores, too, along with the daily facial skincare moisturizing cream. I therefore do not trust anything from tolerain, including the dermo cleanser, though the dermo cleanser may be the least noxious of all tolerain's products. Experienced bad breakouts and still upset with them over this. For me it's cetaphil bar, now and forever, till death do us part, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health. I don't care if another french company comes out with a great cleanser, I'm not trying anything new from anyone. I am fed up with topicals, at this point. > > A close second is Aveeno's Creamy Baby Cleanser. That one is > > good too. > > I've heard of the company, but not that particular product.
