Guest guest
Hello everyone! I am still not getting anywhere with my GI on my obvious panc. issues. I have had a CT done recently which ONLY shows a pseudocyst (they say no link with my pain and the cyst...whatever!!). I was wondering should I push for an ERCP?? Would that be the " tell all " test? Or is there another test I should try first? I am sooooo frustrated. Thanks to all and hope you are all well!! Marisa San Diego, CA
Guest guest
Marissa, there are a number of other tests that other have had done besides a CT scan. One person in the group had something called a trypsinogen test, which is supposed to indicate pancreatic involvement and an MRCP can also be done as well as the ERCP. If I were you, I'd pursue all avenues, including the ERCP, thought that does run the risk of an ERCP. About half of the ERCP's I had gave me a case of pancreatitis. Never really did figure out why sometimes it caused a case and other times it didn't. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
