using Excalibur food dehydrator for fruit leather-question

I am considering buying the mid-sized Excalibur food dehydrator from

Lucy's Kitchen Shop. I'd like to make fruit leather, but I don't know

if I need any sort of tray liner to do this. I've seen these

dehydrators on other websites besides Lucy's Kitchen Shop and they list

a polyscreen tray liner... Lucy's doesn't say anything about this.

From the picture, the trays look solid-- soooo, do I need anything else

besides what comes with the dehydrator from Lucy's to make fruit

leather?

Also, I would like to make yogurt with the dehydrator. I know the

largest model is touted as great for lots of yogurt, but it seems to me

that if I used smaller jars that I could make yogurt in the mid-sized

excalibur. Can anyone vouch for this method?

Thank you!
