Guest guest
Hi, I think this was meant for the group. Matija Date: Wed, 13 Mar 2002 00:01:11 -0000 Subject: Re: Stopping steroids/flare-ups/anti-histamines On one of my appointment with one of the derms I visited, I asked why when I first withdraw from steroid, my face calmed down very quickly in a week, so I thought steroid did not cause that much damage, then my second time (I used steroid again twice for experient) on my left cheek caused my left cheek flushing all the time. He said the consequence of steroid withdraw not always come out immediately, it depends on people, some time it will take months to show the side effect. He also mentioned mine is steroid triggered rosacea not steroid induced rosacea, although both are caused by steroid. I asked why, he said because the steroid induced rosacea looks different. But he did not tell me what were the difference. Anyway, my point is maybe just because your body is fighting with steroid withdraw now . Do not put steroid again on your face, it was my mistake to do the experient.
