Guest guest
Wow what a story. You are also a very gifted writer. Let me say first that you have found a home here. Everyone on the list is the best. So welcome. Now here is the truth. Being overweight brings with it several problems like diabetes, high blood pressure and joint pain just to name a few. You are only 37 so are not experiencing this yet but you WILL! Act now. Dr. Rutledge is the best. My husband had surgery on the 17th of May. He is doing great. He has so much energy that he is driving me nuts! My surgery is Monday so soon I will be able to keep up with him. His tummy looks like he was in a small cat fight. It does not look like he had major surgery last week. This will change your life and you will be singing like a bird full of joy very soon. Of all the fights you could have in your life this is the one worth fighting for. As for the food cravings, I think it is different for everyone. For Rick just a bite satisfies the craving. We went to dinner last night and he ordered a bowl of soup. I had chicken marsala with alfredo. He took a tiny bite of my chicken and was happy with his soup. The veggies in it were calling to him. Your cravings change with this surgery and anything else a bite will do. Later he will get to eat what he wants just not in the amounts that he normaly eats. We are all here to answer questions and help each other. Good luck! {{{HUGS}}} Janet Armour MGB 5/29/
