Guest guest
Dear Chat Board, : ) Thank you for all the responses that have been posted concerning my fight with Medicaid for Elisabeth's Ultrase enzymes. I have done 2 things since I posted- 1. I wrote an e-mail to Scandipharm- a nice one : )- inquiring as to why they have raised the price- I did receieve a reply-telling me that the marketing representative was out of town this week and the person responding did not have an answer at this time for why the price increased. 2. I called the clinic and could not talk to the doctor directly, but had them write a note to him that he would get today. Asking if he would send a note back to the pharmacy telling them - NO Substitutions for her Enzyme would be allowed. Lets hope this solves it- I am concerned though that Medicaid will fight this more as the pharmacist seemed to think they will no longer cover the enzyme Period!!!!due to cost. SOOOO I wait ...... : ) and while I do I thank Lenora, , Gale, n, Kris, le, Cheri, Deb A. and Torsten, for your replies and suggestions. I aprreciate the alternative enzyme you mentioned Torsten. I will keep that filed if needed for future reference. Deb A. you asked where I was from- I live in Arkansas : ). n- thanks for the info on the other pharmacy. Also appreciated the person who told me about comparing the labels between the Ultrase and the generic form. I hope I got everyone covered. : ) I'll let you know what happens. : ) Have a great day!!!!
