Hey Bobbie,

I'll be trying this later on this month... but I ordered an Excalibur

dehydrator (from www.lucyskitchenshop.com and will be trying to make vegetable

chips that way. I'll probably be asking for guidance.

Okay I made the carrot curls today and found out the hard way the oil

has to be really hot to fry them up or they come out like limp noodles.

So, here's my question(s) - is there an easier way to make these

chips? It took so long to peel them (used hand peeler) and then it

took awhile to fry them (used oil in pan on stove) and they were

scarfed up in no time flat!

Please tell me there's a faster, easier method to make chips for kids

in the early part of the diet!

Thanks,

Bobbie

One thing I found out my carrot curls were really skinny and tiny b/c

the peeler I was using is a potato peeler. The peeler that is in the

on-line recipe picture looks more like a knife/slicer.

I used my food processor slicer blade and ended up with much larger,

and still thin, cuts of carrots!

Thanks,

Bobbie
